Last night, we arrived to our Airbnb apartment around 10pm. The owner keyed us into the main door from out in the street and directed us to walk to the end of the alley and take the stairs up to the second floor. We didn’t realize it at the time but here, they cover alley….

Paris is Awesome
Pictures From Paris – Above and Below
We walked over 15 miles of the streets of Paris both above and below ground. highlights included the Catacombs under the city where millions of people have been buried. Also, the Eiffel tower is spectacular at night – especially for the first five minutes of every hour when it sparkles! Seeing what was left of….
Underwater Photo Shoot
Hi Friends! I’ll be posting more about Paris soon. In the meantime, for those of you who expressed interest, here are a few shots from the underwater shoot I did in Vegas. Underwater photography is extremely difficult but I enjoyed it so much more than I ever could have thought. I hope to do this….
Got Our Compostelas – On to Paris!
This morning I slept in until around 9am. It was the first time I could wake up naturally in over 2 weeks. Vegemite had a flight to catch at noon so he already went to the Pilgrim’s Office and got his Compostela. We said goodbye to him in front of our Airbnb and parted ways…..
Made it to Santiago! 15 Miles Up Hill
Last night after my evening nap, I woke up absolutely ravenous. I tore the kitchen apart looking for anything edible but unlike every single house we’ve stayed in, this one had nothing. Brian found a pizza place open at 7pm so we went there for first dinner. We order two large pizzas, polished them off….
12 Blissful Miles to Padron – Only 1 Day Left
Brian had another sleepless night unfortunately. The locals partied until 4am and with the windows closed, our room was too hot. Vegemite’s room was on the inside of the house so he didn’t hear anything. I just had more crazy dreams with the screaming seeping into my thoughts. In the morning, Brian wanted to eat….

Last night, Brian took us to Casa de Fidel O’Pulpeiri which is an octopus joint and one of the best rated seafood restaurants in the entire country of Spain. We ordered several plates of octopus, squid, some fried octopus balls, scallops, and Pedrone peppers. It was all SO amazing. It melted in our mouths. Then….
Zero Day in Pontevedra
Our Airbnb last night was fantastic. It had a washer and drier which was perfect because I needed to wash everything I brought. It is also getting a lot colder and we noticed the place had no heat. Brian texted the owner asking about heat and a half hour later, the man showed up at….
9 Miles – Day 4 of Relentless Rain
Last night, we laid around our Airbnb for hours just doing nothing. Eventually, we ventured out (again in the rain) to find a restaurant. Strangely, this town is known for its hamburger joints. So Brian found a well rated one and we took our time with tapas and vino tinto (red wine). As per our….
